Spring Break Missions Update

“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:35)
We were known as the “prayer group”. God truly used our team of 12-15 from Raleigh, Greensboro and locals to help His name be made great this past week at Winston Salem State University!
Robbie (at his baptism, left), Bekah, Will and Chris (at their baptisms, right). All from my Spring 17 Update almost exactly a year ago, joined me for the Spring Break Missions to the Triad!

PRAISE GOD 🙏☝️🤜👍🙌👏

Answering the Heart

So far back in Raleigh, I have caught stride out in the gospel, God has truly helped me learn to better connect with those I meet! I have prayed for over 89 people, shared the gospel with 65 and as a result I am now being able to see some of the fruit of my labor. In the past two weeks, 4 of the freshmen I met have joined me for a lunchtime gathering to truly evaluate the Scriptures and discuss world-views!

On the Court & In the Classroom

Basketball has played a big part so far this year in my efforts! Not only have we brought back our weekly Sunday afternoon times, I was also invited to play in a greek life fundraiser tournament, and asked to play on an intramural team by a student I am working with. I have met and connected with a ton of people through these opportunities!

As most of you know, I am pursuing further education online to better equip me out in the harvest each day. I have completed a semester and a half thus far, maintaining a 4.0 gpa. I have been able to incorporate what I am learning into sermons, vision casts, and my own appreciation for God and the Scriptures has grown significantly!

Please pray that:

  • God would help those we met at WSSU gather and get connected with local believers!
  • God would speak through me to the hearts of those I am meeting with to go through Scripture, so that they would see the gospel for what it is. The Truth.
  • God would help me be intentional with those I am playing ball with, to help lead them to Him.
  • I would be resting in the Lord, through deep authentic devotion to Him (Lk 10:42) and be filled with His Spirit to run hard for this season heading into the Summer!

Thank you so much for your love, prayers and financial support,

Thomas F. Saunders IV
