Spring Update

I was able take a few of the guys I am working with to our annual winter conference, Faithwalkers, in Ridgecrest, NC. The teachings and worship are always a blessing, but the car rides, meals, basketball, dancing and late night talks made this year unforgettable ๐Ÿ˜œ!
“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” (2 Timothy 2:2)

This year’s Emerging Servants Summit was particularly special. In the past, the praise was that I had been given the opportunity to train. This year was a little different for good reason. I was not only asked to train, but also given the chance to get guys I am leading to do the same! Tate (burgundy) and Timothy (grey) both did an awesome job ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ!
For the Super Bowl ๐Ÿˆ, we were able to have our house churches all combine together. Although the game was very uneventful ๐Ÿ˜ด, the food ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ• and fellowship made the time!
“so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.” (1 Thessalonians 2:8)

With the start of the new semester, I have gotten to invest my very life with these two brothers, Timothy (left) and Auston (right). From buffets, burgers, and BBQ (The Pit) to getting paper airplanes stuck, the range, and time in the books. I am very proud of them and encouraged by the work God is doing through them. As you have already read, Timothy has stepped up this year! Auston continues to as well as he grows to love his family more deeply and reach out to those in his dorm, we were even able to share the Gospel with his roommate Breo last week!

Our Thursday Men’s Gathering has continued to foster loyalty, vulnerability and strength amongst the group! For all of these men, this is their first time having a true accountability group dealing with the topic of purity. I am extremely blessed to have this opportunity to lead them and share the wisdom God has given me through Doug Weiss’ “Clean” and my own personal experiences!
This month, I also started leading the Crown Finance Class for our church! This has not only helped those attending to see money how God desires them to, but I am undoubtedly being reminded of the same principles myself as I prepare to lead each week!
The Outreach Table has continued to bless our church. As shown, the time is allowing Timothy, and others that are new to sharing their faith, the opportunity to step out! This time has allowed us to continually represent Christ and serve as a steady haven for students seeking Him. We are faithfully getting the Gospel out and getting those we meet connected into our church!
Please pray for our upcoming Spring Break Mission Trip to Miami, FL ๐Ÿ(Our trip will be March 8th-13th.)

We will be leaving Friday and driving to stay with leaders of our sister church in Riverbend, SC that night. Will wake the next day to finish the commute to Miami, FL.We will spend that night connecting with our sister church “La Roca” there and settling into housing with deacons and elders families of that church who we will be staying with for the extent of our stay. The next few days will consist of outreach to the University of Miami and Miami Dade College as well as some time to connect more with the saints there and see the city. We will be returning on the 13th!
Thank you, my support team, so much for faithfully persevering with me! You are a steady, unrelenting force for the expansion of God’s Kingdom here on Earth. By investing in winning souls, in the eternal reward, we are together making an impact every day! I am thankful beyond words can express for each one of you! Nothing will stop God changing hearts and building His church!

In Christ, love,
